tomato was founded in 1991 as a collective comprising artists, designers, musicians and writers. the group develops cross platform, multi-media projects; both commercial and research based.

dave’s book gives a unique insight into how Balearic Beats and the spirit of ibiza changed the face of music and life on this much-loved island, and had a dramatic influence on london and the uk.
the book expands upon the eponymous exhibition which took place at the printspace gallery in may and has been shown over the summer at the hotel es vivé in ibiza — which was selected from the extensive collection of photographs taken in ibiza and london by dave swindells, who documented the scene during his many years as nightlife editor at time out.

Tomato were asked to contribute sketches from their work process to the Fondo Ambiente Italiano project, a foundation that protects Italy’s artistic assets. “Hand of the graphic designer”, designed by AG Associates, is a collection of 367 drawings by designers from around the world.

balance created by kedge using crashed renders from zbrush, whilst light through trees was dylans making, placing cherry blossom on cyanotype paper to create a series of photograms, light and water did the rest. the last piece by simon depicts an imagined flower.
